In order to complete the recruitment and visa process, all successful candidates will need to provide the following documents:

Police Clearance: A valid police clearance from your home country is required for visa processing. While you are starting the process, previous clearances may be submitted, but obtaining an updated clearance is essential if you want to join us swiftly.

Apostilled BA Degree: Your BA degree must be apostilled before submitting it to our visa office. While this process may take time, you can begin teaching while working on obtaining the apostille. However, it is crucial that the final apostilled document is provided to secure your position.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: BA, MA, or PhD in English, TEFL, TESOL (Strictly English-related fields).

  • If the BA is not in an English-related field, candidates must have an accredited CELTA, TESOL, or TEFL certification.
  • Age Range: 25-58 years.
  • English Proficiency: C1 certification or equivalent experience required.
  • Non-Native Speakers: Must have an accredited C1 English proficiency certification.
  • Teaching Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a physical classroom setting.
  • Certifications: TEFL, TESL, TESOL, and CELTA certifications must be from accredited institutions.
  • International Experience: Highly preferred.
  • Teaching Level: Secondary school experience.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $1,000 - USD 3,000 before tax (12%).

Recruitment for International EFL/ESL Experts (English Language Teachers)

The Ministry of Education of Uzbekistan seeks qualified and experienced international EFL experts for teaching positions from October to May 31, 2025. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about teaching English and looking to immerse themselves in a vibrant culture without micromanagement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Teaching English: Up to 20 hours per week. (15 students per class), support from a co-teacher.
  • Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs): Up to 6 hours per week focused on English-related activities (Teachers' choice)
