- Good command of the English language (oral and written)
- Good command of the teaching methodologies used in the Finnish educational context.

Position Overview:
As an accomplished early childhood education professional, you will specialize in delivering engaging, student-centered instruction for children aged 3-5. You will play a key role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where curiosity, creativity, and foundational skills are developed through age-appropriate learning experiences.
This role emphasizes fostering a love for learning and building strong social, emotional, and cognitive skills in young learners. You will collaborate closely with colleagues, students, and parents to ensure personalized development for every child while contributing to a supportive and inclusive school culture.
As a key member of the school community, you will actively implement child protection measures, ensuring the safety, well-being, and holistic growth of all students. Dedicated to continuous improvement, you will also participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and extracurricular activities, aligning with the school’s vision and values.
Responsibilities:
- Classroom Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily teaching activities that meet the developmental and academic needs of young learners.
- Use creative and age-appropriate instructional strategies to foster curiosity and foundational skills.
- Work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues to create Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), ensuring understanding, agreement, and support from all stakeholders.
- Participate actively in classroom activities conducted by other teachers and integrate cross-curricular approaches where relevant.
- Regularly evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessment practices based on research.
General Responsibilities:
- Communicate daily activities and student progress effectively to parents.
- Actively seek to enhance teaching practices and professional skills.
- Follow established school policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of early childhood content, strategies, and developmental benchmarks.
