The Canadian International School of Egypt (CISE) is in the process of adding to our team for the 2022-2023 school year. If you are motivated to support our learners to grow to their potential and consider yourself a team player who is collaborative and willing to learn, teach and grow, please join us.
We are looking to add Supply Teachers to our team. A great way to gain experience and could lead to permanent employment.
Our K 12 School Improvement goals include building consistency in class programs through an integrated and extensive Professional Development plan, building community through social networking and gathering opportunities, and continuing to build an amazing, positive, safe learning and teaching environment for all. We have teachers from all over the world as part of our team and welcome applications from individuals who can see themselves as part of our enterprise.
CISE is an English academic track Ontario (Canada) curriculum school located in Tagoma, New Cairo, Egypt. The school offers English, Core French, French Immersion, and Arabic throughout. Our students are learning English as a second - and sometimes third - language. Applicants who are certified with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) are given preference for employment.
The Canadian International School of Egypt is energetic, young, and growing. We opened in 2002 with 35 students and have grown to over 1600 students for 2022-2023. We have a strong reputation in the community as a reputable, respectful work and learning environment.
The Canadian International School of Egypt is home to students from Pre-School to Grade 12. Graduation from CISE provides its students with the Canadian “Ontario Secondary School Diploma.” CISE is listed on the Ontario Ministry of Education website as an Overseas Private School. The education curriculum is delivered in the same manner as if the school were in Toronto or Canada’s capital, Ottawa.
Mission Statement
The Canadian International School of Egypt is dedicated to working in partnership with parents and students to provide a world-class teaching and learning environment to develop students as inquiring, knowledgeable, creative, and caring citizens of a global society.
Learning, Sharing, and Growing Together
The Canadian International School of Egypt (CISE) offers students an opportunity to develop through a diverse system that implements the Canadian Ontario curriculum and a wide range of activities.
Our inquiry-based programs and activities encourage students to discover their interests and strengths. All of this is done in a safe, caring, and supportive school environment that fosters positive attitudes and allows students to challenge themselves and be risk-takers, without the fear of being judged.
Our purpose is to optimize students’ full potential, to widen their horizons through learning, cooperating, and sharing, and finally to create an environment that will empower students to successfully exist in a global society.
