Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Valid teaching certification/license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Math, preferably within the IB MYP framework.
Proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.

Job Benefits:

Housing according to the terms of the contract.
Holidays: ○ December: 2 weeks (approx. 10 days) ○ Spring Break: 2 weeks ○ Summer: 4 to 5 weeks (according to the Ministry of Education calendar) ○ National Holidays
Transportation costs from home to school and from school to home must be covered by the employee.

Job Summary:
Madison International School is seeking a dynamic and passionate MYP Math Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum and Instruction

Plan, prepare, and deliver challenging and engaging lessons that align with the IB MYP framework.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance the learning experience and foster analytical skills.

Assessment and Feedback

Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
Use assessment data to inform and adjust teaching strategies for improved student outcomes.

Classroom Management

Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and a positive learning experience.
Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive and safe learning environment.
Address and resolve any behavioral issues in a fair and consistent manner.

Professional Collaboration

Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and projects that enrich the IB MYP curriculum.
Participate in school-wide activities, professional development, and IB training sessions.
Engage with the school community, including parents and guardians, to support student learning and well-being.
