The Academic Coordinator reports to the assistant principal, is responsible for the overall teachers’ evaluation, and provides recommendations for development throughout the school year. He/she will assume educational guidance and supervision for each department and subject area to ensure that students are taught and supervised in a safe learning environment and provide instruction that meets and exceeds the School Core Curriculum Content Standards, following the approved curricula and directives of the school's Academic leadership. The coordinator will conduct classroom observations (formal and informal) of the teachers and will offer support and guidance to the subject coordinators to enhance and support teachers’ academic performance especially in the American Curriculum and International Baccalaureate (IB). He/she will identify the developmental needs of each department and implement substantial coaching, training, and mentoring strategies to improve teaching techniques, knowledge, and skills throughout the year.
Evaluate and Supervise: Teachers and subject coordinators.
Working hours: 6 days per week, with extended working hours.
Responsibilities:

- Securing teachers for open posts by recruiting, interviewing, and negotiating agreements with potential teachers.
- Mentoring, Coaching and Training Teachers.
- Leading and Managing Teaching Staff.
- Providing Instructional Guidance for Teaching and Learning.
- Communicating and Liaising with School Management.
- Establishing and Implementing Department/Subject Activity Programs.
- Planning, Monitoring, and Supervising an Activities Program.
- Planning, Developing, and Implementing School-Wide and Department PDP.
- Following up closely and Suggesting Ways for Student Academic Progress.
- Being accountable for Student Academic Progress.
- Subteaching when needed.
