The Falcon School is seeking to hire a Class Teacher for Primary Four.
We are a small, international school with a caring, family atmosphere.
Due to expansion, we are inviting applications from experienced teachers to teach Primary Four.
Founded in 1976, the Falcon School is an educational foundation offering a continuous education for girls and boys of 4 years to 18 years old, in an active, inquiring learning environment with extensive facilities for studying languages, the Sciences, the Arts, music, and a wide range of sports. As members of a multi-cultural, multi-racial school community that looks to the future, while cherishing traditional values, Falcon students and teachers aim to be critical thinkers and life-long learners, able to adapt and work together, responding to the social and technological challenges of the modern world. The language of instruction is English. The KG and Primary Reception classes, for children aged 4 to 5 years, offer a total immersion introduction to the English language for non-English speakers along with a broad range of educational activities.

The KG and Primary Reception classes, for children aged 4 to 5 years, offer a total immersion introduction to the English language for non-English speakers along with a broad range of educational activities. This establishes the basic learning skills and attitudes necessary for a happy, confident, and successful school life. The children experience learning through art, music, sports and play in a stimulating and caring environment.
Each year, the children visit places of interest, such as the Fire Department, the camel park, the mountains, and the beach. They participate in musical and drama performances. These and other experiences form the beginnings of many happy memories of their school lives.
The Primary Department offers a well-rounded academic curriculum and opportunities for children to develop personally in a close-knit community of small-sized classes, totaling about 150 students. Falcon Primary children engage in many activities that stimulate the interest of an inquisitive young mind, ensuring a successful continuation of the educational journey into Secondary School.
Each year, primary pupils have the opportunity to go on educational visits to museums and sites of historical interest. They perform in musical and drama productions. There are school excursions to the mountains and the beach. Every week, a full program of afternoon clubs and activities operates, so that the children are fully engaged in the vibrant life of the school.
The Secondary Department offers a thorough academic education in a supportive, yet challenging environment. Students are expected to engage wholeheartedly in a range of activities, both sporting and cultural. Class sizes never exceed 24 and there is a close-knit sense of community, where self-discipline and responsibility are valued and encouraged.
Throughout the year, there are educational excursions, and frequent opportunities to participate in sports and activities with students from other schools. Each school week offers a daily program of afternoon clubs. The total number of students is around 300.
