What You’ll Do in the Role:
- Teach with Flexibility: Work 14-16 hours per week, with breaks between classes and free time during the day for your own pursuits.
- Support, Not Discipline: You’ll assist Spanish teachers in the classroom, focusing on language learning activities without responsibilities for classroom discipline, assessments, or parent meetings.
- Dedicated Mentorship: A mentor teacher will guide you throughout your placement, providing your schedule and offering support when needed.
- Engage in Public Schools: Teach in Spanish public schools (elementary, secondary, or language schools), supporting English language instruction and possibly contributing to other subjects taught in English, such as science, art, or technology.
