Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership when standing in for the absence of the principal;
- Manage the school’s environment to ensure it is safe and secure for all;
- Ensure that academic and financial records are accurately kept;
- Solve problems in a creative way to improve circumstances, situations, or processes within the parameters of the school governance structures;
- Ensuring that a School Log Book or Incident Book is maintained containing a record of all-important events connected with the school;
- Assist in the management of all external projects, visits, and school trips;
- Liaise with learners, staff, parents, and the school governing body.
The Bloomington Academy is the first British curriculum institution in the Emirate of Ajman, which is also easily accessible from Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain. The school, with a rapidly increasing student strength representing 55 different nationalities, has grown over the years into an edifice of modern, contemporary learning.
