Primary School Teacher

Horizon Sendai Primary School is a Japanese Article-one school providing compulsory elementary education. We follow the Japanese National Curriculum Guidelines as well as the standards and practices of the IB Primary Years Programme as a PYP-authorized school. We have also received a "Special Designated School" status from the Ministry of Education to implement an English Immersion Program. Depending on the subject we use English and/or Japanese as the language of instruction. Each class is assigned an English Homeroom Teacher and a Japanese Homeroom Teacher requiring both teachers to work collaboratively.
