Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in the curricular subject (Science) and/or related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of two years of experience in an educational setting as Laboratory Technician.
- IELTS or TOEFL for non-native teachers (6.5 for subjects taught in English).

- Ability to set up and prepare the related science subject’s experiments including the use of multimedia resources such as simulations and animations in teaching science subjects.
- Ability to take responsibility for stock keeping, ordering of equipment, making decisions about the quantities of equipment needed for lessons.
- Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and skills from their discipline to real-world situations.
- Demonstrate an understanding of Lab safety standards when dealing with science equipment.
- Commitment to the highest standards of professional practice and to the development of a school culture based on collaboration between principals, teachers, parents and students.

Position Summary:

The lab technician should be committed to maintaining and preparing the science laboratory for teachers and students experiments and use. Under the supervision of a faculty member, the Lab technician is responsible of the day-to-day running of labs, the preparation of equipment and safety instructions to ensure the smooth running of lessons, and offering help and advice to learners when necessary.
