Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related field
- Experience teaching pre-algebra, or algebra at the middle school level
Preferred Experience:
- Strong content knowledge in mathematics
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring students
- Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred
- A degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred
Payment: $40 USD per hour, $60 USD per class (90 minutes). The more group classes you take, the more stable your income could be (eg. one group class can earn up to $1080 USD for one semester)
Incentives:
- If you become a new teacher and successfully complete a class by January 31st, you will receive a $100 incentive.
- If you successfully complete a full semester of classes (18 weeks, one class per week), you will receive another $200 incentive.
- If you refer a teacher and they finish their first class as scheduled by January 31st, you'll receive a $100 referral incentive.
What We Offer:

Online Math Tutors for American Pre-algebra and Algebra Level $40/hour
LingoAce is an online learning platform providing engaging education for children aged 4-15, with a strong focus on math. After rapid growth, we now serve over ten thousand students worldwide. In 2022, we launched our Math Program, starting with elementary-level math and expanding to secondary-level courses like pre-algebra and algebra.
About the Ace Math Honors program (American pre-algebra and algebra level):
- Content: Teach courses based on American pre-algebra and algebra knowledge to secondary-level students, most of whom are based in the USA.
- Class Schedule: Fixed-schedule classes with enrolled students, once a week, last 18 weeks for one semester starting on January 13th, 2025.
- Curriculum: provided by LingoAce
- Platform: LingoAce Online Classroom
What You'll Do:
- Teach engaging and interactive math courses focused on pre-algebra and algebra to secondary-level students.
- Lead group classes (90 minutes) with 6-12 students per session, following the provided curriculum.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.
- Collaborate with the LingoAce team to ensure class delivery meets educational standards and student needs.
