Experience teaching in a Middle or High School experiencia ensenando en secundaria o bachillerato.

Annual Stipend. 15 days' salary of annual stipend paid before December 20th. The stipend for the first year is paid proportionally to the working days.

Vacation bonus. Payment is equivalent to 25% of 12 vacation days at the end of every working year.

100% Scholarship for all dependent children, as long they pass admission tests. (Scholarship does not cover institutional fees, school uniforms, books, supplies, and PTA charges)

Mexican Social Security

Play a pivotal role in creating a vibrant and inclusive learning environment for middle and high school students. The primary objective is to inspire and engage students through innovative instructional methods, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth. As a Middle/High School Teacher, you will contribute to the development of critical thinking skills and cultivate a love for learning.

Responsabilities: 

Foster a Love of Learning and Reading:
Cultivate a school culture that encourages a passion for learning and reading, fostering lifelong learning habits in students and inspiring curiosity across the school community.

Promote School Spirit:
Actively nurture a sense of school pride and unity, ensuring a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment where students, staff, and the community feel connected and motivated to contribute.

Oversee School Activities and Staff:
Manage all school activities, ensuring that they are well-organized and effectively coordinated. Foster positive, collaborative relationships among students, teachers, parents, and support staff.

Uphold School Values and Mission:
Safeguard and promote the school’s core values, ensuring they are clearly reflected in daily activities, interactions, and decision-making processes. Strive to create a learning environment where these values are evident and integrated throughout the school culture.

Ensure Student and Staff Safety:
Establish, implement, and regularly review safety procedures for students, staff, and visitors. Conduct safety drills and maintain a secure environment, ensuring the well-being of all members of the school community.

Possess Strong Knowledge of Curriculum and Development:
Demonstrate expertise in curriculum development and child development, with a solid understanding of best practices in both early childhood and general education. Ensure the curriculum is engaging, relevant, and aligned with state or national standards.

Monitor Compliance with Educational Standards:
Oversee compliance with local educational regulations and standards (e.g., SEP or equivalent), including assessments, diagnostics, student attendance, and providing appropriate support services for students.

Coordinate Admissions Process:
Oversee and manage the school’s admissions process to ensure it is fair, transparent, and aligned with the school’s high academic standards and goals. Ensure that the process is inclusive and provides equal opportunities for all applicants.

Engage and Educate Parents:
Develop and implement programs to educate and engage parents in their children’s educational journey. Provide clear communication about the school’s expectations, values, and any necessary support systems to ensure strong home-school partnerships.

Lead the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Team:
Direct and support the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) team in creating and implementing curricula and programs that address students’ emotional and social well-being. Ensure that SEL practices are integrated into daily school life and that they are responsive to students' needs.

Develop External Relationships and Networks:
Build and maintain connections with local and international educational networks, other schools, and relevant community organizations. Advocate for the school’s mission and values, and engage in professional development to bring innovative ideas back to the school.

 

Activities: 

Daily

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum and educational standards.

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment and manage student behavior.

- Design and administer assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.

- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and collaborate with special education staff.

- Integrate technology for enhanced learning and maintain regular communication with parents.

 

Weekly 

- Participate in team meetings, collaborate with colleagues, and engage in professional development.

- Review student assessments, update parents, and collaborate on extracurricular activities.

 

Bi-Weekly 

 Engage in Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings for collective reflection and improvement.

 

Monthly 

- Conduct data analysis, plan professional development, and schedule individual student conferences.

- Collaborate with teachers, review the curriculum, and engage in community activities.

 

Quarter

- Collect and evaluate assessments, input grades, and provide qualitative comments for each student.

- Conduct parent-teacher conferences, analyze assessment data, and set goals for the next trimester.

 

Annual 

- Compile final grades, write year-end comments, conduct classroom inventory, and organize student portfolios.

- Reflect on the academic year, plan for summer professional development, and facilitate teacher-led and student-led conferences.

 

Eventual 

- Attend after-hours school events, engage in professional development, and participate in social service initiatives.

- Supervise extracurricular activities, plan parent engagement activities, and collaborate with external organizations.
