The general objective of the position:
To provide a well-managed and resourceful library environment that supports the educational goals of the ASFC fosters a love for reading and learning among students, and empowers the school community with essential information literacy skills. The school librarian aims to enhance the overall educational experience by curating a diverse collection of materials, collaborating with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum, and promoting a culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.
The American School Foundation of Chiapas, A.C. is a bilingual, multicultural IB World School. We strive to combine local and international talent, providing real-life experiences that better prepare our students to deal with the authenticity of multicultural and diverse environments.
