Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (with an MA preferred) with a valid teaching certificate/license in content area and related field.
- A minimum of five years of current, full-time related teaching experience.
- Teaching experience in an American curriculum school is preferred.
- IELTS or TOEFL for non-native teachers (6.5 for subjects taught in English & 7.5 for English subjects).
- Experience with current best practices, teaching materials, instructional strategies, and recent professional growth activities.
- Demonstrated leadership with experience in curriculum development and co-curricular programs
- All Applicants must have experience as a Head of Department or Lead Teacher for three years in the relevant subject.
- All Applicants must have a valid teaching license.

Position Summary:
The Lead teacher will pledge his/her commitment to help the School achieve its mission, goals, and vision, value community, and bring a spirit of enthusiasm, energy, and willingness to take thoughtful initiative in a collaborative setting. The Lead Teacher is responsible for making clear and effective decisions about planning, implementing, and evaluating the curriculum, including assessments and extra-curricular activities; leading and managing teaching and non-teaching staff; and organizing department resources. Lead Teachers have overall responsibility for the standard of students’ work, outcomes, and behavior in the department.
