Teaching certification or license in Mexico or country of origin
Experience working in an IB World School
Knowledge of IB PYP / MYP / DP model, curriculum and assessment practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm for working with students and promoting their academic growth
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
Professional Fluency in English or Spanish (written and spoken)
Conversational fluency in the 2nd language is an asset
Experience with Science of Reading, Coordinating Clubs/After school Activities an asset

The Colegio El Camino MYP/DP librarian, Language & Learning Program Coordinator, and Reading Specialist will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of reading, research, and academic excellence within our International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). The candidate requires expertise in library sciences, language, and literacy development, and a passion for fostering literacy skills among students. ( Knowledge in Science of Reading Theory an asset )

Responsibilities:

The position is a multifaceted role that supports student learning and literacy development across the IB Continuum curriculum. The role includes managing library resources, promoting reading and literacy, providing targeted support for language acquisition, and coordinating with faculty to enhance academic success within the IB framework at Colegio El Camino.
