Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled High School English Teacher to inspire and guide students in developing their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The ideal candidate will foster a love for literature, improve literacy, and create a dynamic classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach language arts subjects including reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literature to students.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote student learning.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to express their ideas.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, projects, and class participation.
• Provide feedback and individualized support to help students improve their skills.
• Integrate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance learning.
• Encourage creative writing, critical thinking, and discussion of literary works.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
