Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in education, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of international curricula such as IB, Cambridge, or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, academic leadership, and operational management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural awareness and sensitivity.

Airfare and Travel Allowance

Travel at the Time of Joining and End of Contract:

  • For expatriates, one-way economy class tickets will be provided for travel to the school location at the time of joining/arrival.
  • Economy class tickets will also be provided for the return journey at the end of the contract.

Annual Round Trip Reimbursement:

One round trip per year to the employee's home country will be reimbursed during the contract period. This includes reimbursement of the actual cost of a one-way economy airfare from the designated point of origin to the school location, following the most direct and uninterrupted route.

Reimbursement for Staff and Dependents:

  • Employee will receive 100% reimbursement for their ticket costs.
  • For lawful dependents (spouse and up to two children), 50% of the actual ticket cost will be reimbursed if accompanying the employee.

Leave Travel Allowance (LTA):

  • If the employee does not travel to their home country during the summer vacation, the school will provide a leave travel allowance (LTA) of up to for an employee - Single person Rs. 30,000/-, and Family 50,000/-
  • This allowance can be utilized for travel within India.
  • Any taxes applicable on this allowance will be deducted at the source.

Accommodation:

A well-furnished 2 BHK accommodation conveniently located near the school will be provided in a gated society.

Visa Support:

The school will cover all expenses related to visas for employment purposes. The expatriate is required to adhere the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) policy and procedures.

Cost of Living:

As one of the most affordable places to live in the world, you'll be earning a healthy take-home pay whilst living a comfortable lifestyle

Tax Exemptions:

Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for tax free benefits for the first few years of employment

Health Insurance:

Health insurance coverage will be provided, as applicable to other employees.

Leave Policy:

Leave entitlement will be as per the school’s established leave policy.

The Head of School serves as the educational leader of the school, responsible for the overall management, strategic direction, and academic excellence of the institution. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement the school’s strategic vision and goals in collaboration with the school Board.
  • Lead the planning and execution of academic, operational, and extracurricular initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to international educational standards, including IB and Cambridge.

Academic Excellence

  • Oversee the design and delivery of the curriculum, ensuring alignment with international benchmarks.
  • Foster a culture of academic rigor, innovation, and continuous improvement among staff and students.
  • Monitor student performance and ensure systems are in place to track and support progress.

Faculty and Staff Management

  • Recruit, retain, and develop highly qualified teaching and administrative staff.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to faculty members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Student and Community Engagement

  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for students, ensuring their academic, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community.
  • Represent the school at public forums, conferences, and community events.

Operational and Financial Oversight

  • Manage the school’s budget and resources effectively to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Oversee infrastructure, facilities, and technology enhancements to support learning.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accreditation standards.

Governance and Reporting

  • Work closely with the school Board, providing regular updates on school performance and key initiatives.
  • Implement board policies and strategic directives effectively.
