We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Head of High School in our school.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support, implement and model the School Mission & Values
- Work together with the Principal to provide effective leadership to the school
- Implement Strategic Plan and foster School Goals and objectives
- Understand and implement the School Policies and practical applications
- Classroom teaching when needed
- New Teacher Orientation
- Teacher Development and Evaluation
- Focus on Student Achievement
- Prepare all the requested reports for the Principal
- Assist the principal in working with Support Staff
- Assist in student recruitment
- Focus on effective Parent Communication
- Any additional tasks as requested by the Principal
- Provide leadership to grade leaders
- Ensure facility compliance
- School Safety
- Attended all relevant meetings
- Ensure effective teacher planning in compliance with BC curriculum
- School Maintenance (Facility upkeep)
- Develop and Document and implement effective procedures in all areas that become school-accepted practice
