What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Early Years education, ideally in the UAE.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of Early Years pedagogy, curriculum frameworks (EYFS, Reggio Emilia, etc.), and quality assurance.
- Proven leadership in marketing education programs and supporting school admissions processes.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Personal Attributes: Energetic, innovative, emotionally intelligent, and committed to building a nurturing and successful Early Years community.
Head of Early Years
As the Head of Early Years, you will lead the strategic development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Foundation Stage programs. You will inspire excellence in teaching and learning, champion best practices in Early Years education, and work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community to create a strong, inclusive foundation for lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Early Years educational programs, ensuring high academic standards, innovation, and child-centered best practices.
- Oversee curriculum development and continuous improvement to align with KHDA standards and international benchmarks.
- Collaborate with the Teaching & Learning Department and senior leadership team and foster a high-performing team culture through coaching, mentoring, and professional development workshops.
- Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning through classroom observations, student outcomes, and staff feedback.
- Organize meaningful experiential learning opportunities — including field trips, guest visits, and hands-on projects.
- Champion the school’s Early Years program externally, working closely with the Marketing team on open days, campaigns, and parent engagement strategies.
- Partner with the Admissions Department to support student recruitment by conducting school tours, hosting family info sessions, and contributing to the onboarding of new students.
- Strengthen community relationships and family partnerships, ensuring consistent, supportive communication and involvement.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment in line with safeguarding policies and UAE regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and UAE education regulations, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all students
