Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Early Years, Primary Education, or Elementary Education. Eight years experience in the education field, including eight years of teaching experience in an American Curriculum setting AND experience as a Head of Teaching and Learning.
- Teaching license from home country/province/state
- Must have completed a supervised practicum while earning Education Qualification
- Strong knowledge and experience in American Common Core Standards, student-centered learning, standards-based grading and reporting principles, developing critical thinking skills in students, inquiry-based learning, and problem-solving.
- Proficient in the use of technology in the classroom.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Collaborative leader with high emotional intelligence.
- Passionate about teaching and committed to providing high-quality education to students.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with English Language Learners is preferable.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the school community, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. The successful candidate must be either American or Canadian and possess a proven track record of educational leadership experience.
- Ensure the school's compliance with all regulatory requirements set forth by Egyptian Ministry of Education officials, including but not limited to curriculum implementation, assessment, reporting, and accreditation.
- While assisting the Founding Principal to develop and implement a strategic plan and school development plan for the school that aligns with the St. Anthony core purpose and reflects the school's mission and vision.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement innovative teaching and learning practices that engage and challenge students and promote the development of 21st-century skills.
- Foster a positive school climate that promotes inclusivity, respect, and diversity and supports the social and emotional well-being of all staff and students.
- Work closely with parents, stakeholders, and other partners to develop effective communication and collaboration strategies that support student learning and achievement.
- Manage the school's budget and resources effectively, ensuring that resources are allocated in a way that supports the school's strategic goals and priorities.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth among staff, supporting and encouraging ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Ensure that all lessons are planned and delivered to align with the American Common Core Standards using student-centered teaching practices that support the development of critical thinking skills.
- Ensure that standards-based grading and reporting principles are effectively implemented to provide accurate and meaningful feedback to students and parents.
- Support teachers in utilizing inquiry-based learning and problem-solving strategies to engage students and enhance their understanding of scientific concepts.
- Led the School Improvement Team to ensure success in all external inspections and evaluations, including Cognia.
- Provide professional development opportunities to support staff in staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in teaching.
