Qualifications:

  • BA degree in Education OR a PGCE qualification
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
  • Experience teaching the American curriculum is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in an Elementary School Environment
  • Fluent in English (Spoken, Reading and Writing)

Bloom Education is now recruiting qualified and experienced Homeroom Teachers for positions for our Ajyal Schools based in the Umm Al Quwain, due to open in August 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching allocated classes along with related planning
  • Assessing, monitoring, recording, and reporting on the work of students
  • Providing advice and guidance to students on issues related to their education
  • challenging and inspiring pupils to help them deepen their knowledge and understanding
  • Assess and record progress and prepare pupils for examinations
  • Promoting and safeguarding the general well-being and safety of students
  • Develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability, and aptitude
  • Collaborating with parents and other staff towards achieving the best interest of the students
  • Engaging in continuing professional development
  • Engaging in developing the school curriculum
  • Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity
  • Inter-cultural awareness, well-developed communication skills, and excitement to engage with students and parents

The successful candidate will be required to submit a letter of application and CV, together with a copy of passport, education certificates, and police clearance to complete the online application process.
