The elementary art teacher is responsible for planning and delivering units of study aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework. The candidate will teach K to Gr 2 in the first semester and grades 3 - 5 in the second semester. In addition, the candidate will collaborate with teachers to support cross-curricular connections throughout the grade levels.
The candidate will be responsible to promote Art Education throughout the school community through planned events such as Art Shows, competitions, and the like. There will also be a responsibility to be part of school-wide committees to organize events that promote student learning and application of Expected Schoolwide Student Outcomes.
The American School of Ulaanbaatar (ASU) is an international school founded in 2006.
