Deputy Head - Pre-K \ Elementary
- Early Childhood
- Licensed Teacher
- Master
- 5 years of teaching experience
- Teaching Credential/LicenseTESL/TEFL Certificate over 100 hours
Education: Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
Experience: At least 5 years experience as a teacher and a minimum of 2 years working in an international school. Prior experience as a middle leader or senior leader.
Certifications: Middle Leader training – NPQML/SL or equivalent, Safeguarding, Well-being certifications.

Leadership:
- Drawing on recent and relevant pedagogical research and contributing to the professional learning of colleagues through modeling and sharing best practices in their teams.
- Led the goal-setting process and supported members in reaching personal/team goals through mentoring and coaching.
- Implementing and embedding innovative ideas in their practice and teams, including using technology to support learning.
- Demonstrating breadth and depth of subject knowledge to inspire and innovate.
- Support teachers in the implementation of key assessment structures through their teaching
Professional Responsibility:
- Providing honest, clear, constructive, and timely feedback to individuals and teams on department and individual goals and on teaching and learning.
- Ensuring a range of data is collected, recorded, and analyzed to ensure that decisions about learning are data-driven within their teams.
- Developing and delivering the programs, modifying them as appropriate to ensure all learners are catered for.
- Support towards the development of structures to monitor the progress of
- Respecting confidentiality issues with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students within the department.
- Analyze and evaluate, with the department, performance data provided and take appropriate action in response.
- Developing action plans and Performance improvement plans for staff
- Share relevant updates and important dates with parents and staff
- Providing direction, support, and mentorship for all staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
