Toronto, ON – (Sep. 27, 2018) - Teach Away, the leading recruitment and professional development platform for international educators, is excited to announce that they have entered into an collaborative partnership with ECIS to make Teach Away the exclusive recruitment platform for their network of more than 425 schools throughout the world. The partnership officially took effect on Sep. 27, 2018.
“Teach Away is thrilled to partner with ECIS, an organization widely recognized in our industry as having a long-standing reputation for promoting world-class research and development in education,” said Dave Frey, CEO of Teach Away. “We feel that this partnership will help ECIS continue to grow and serve its membership, by making it easier for their member schools to connect with top teaching talent.”
As part of the partnership agreement, Teach Away will provide ECIS member schools with access to Teach Away’s all-inclusive digital recruitment platform, traditional recruitment services, teacher professional development courses, and a suite of new recruitment tools that Teach Away launched in September 2018.
“We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Teach Away,” said Kevin J Ruth, Executive Director of ECIS. “We’re dedicated to advancing international education, and partnering with another forward-thinking organization, like Teach Away, is a strong step in the right direction.”
Teach Away is also delighted to work closely with ECIS on the promotion of the ECIS Child Protection Certificate. The program provides training on recruitment and onboarding of new staff, the creation and implementation of policies and procedures, and the oversight of school leadership and the associated governing body, all of which work in tandem to create a positive school culture around child protection. As a leading member of the Recruitment Committee for the International Task Force on Child Protection, Teach Away champions the protection and safety of children, as evidenced by its vision to create a world where every student experiences the power of a great teacher. To work with ECIS, a founding member of the task force, speaks volumes to both organizations’ commitment to children and schools.
