About Valdisavoia Multipurpose Institute
The Valdisavoia Multipurpose Institute was founded in the 2001/2002 school year from the merger of the “San Domenico Savio”, “Virgilio” and “Pithagora” institutes and is among the largest privately managed school centers in the Province. The new school complex belonged to the family of Prince Vagliasindi who inherited the architecture of the Savoy era. The Institute is located in Catania in the Cibali area, in via Valdisavoia n. 7, near the city center and served by urban and extra-urban transport.
Meeting centers, health, social, and sports services are also easily reachable. There are young people involved in voluntary activities in the area. The territory is also provided by highly frequented social gathering places, such as the Church, the Municipal Stadium, and the Italian Army barracks.
The city center is also easily reachable, full of museums, libraries, and monuments of historical, artistic, and cultural interest. The school operates on a single site and is equipped with a language laboratory, drawing room, sports field, kiosk bar, garden park, and car park.
