About Qatar Academy Al Wakra
Founded in 2011, the Qatar Academy Al Wakra (QAW) is an international school that is dedicated to providing the highest possible standards in education. Classes are coeducational up into Grade 5, and segregated from Grade 6 and up. The school is planning to add a new grade level annually to eventually reach Grade 12 by 2021/2022.
QAW teaches in both English and Arabic to prepare students to be successful in both the Middle East and abroad. Their mission is to develop critical thinkers, lifelong learners, and globally minded citizens that are of the highest academic calendar. QAW teachers are highly qualified and from many locations around the world, adding to the school's international environment.
