We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has proven experience teaching middle school science (experience in an international school setting is a plus).
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and differentiated instruction.
  • Is passionate about their subject and able to bring science to life for young learners.
  • Is adaptable, flexible, and thrives in a multicultural environment.
  • Possesses excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Is proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Is committed to the holistic development and well-being of students.

 

  • Starting Salary: 2.8+ mil/month, depending on subject, qualifications, and experience
  • Vacation: Winter, 2 weeks; Spring, 1 week; Summer, 4 weeks; plus national holidays
  • Standard medical and pension/severance contributions

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our vibrant middle school team. You will play a vital role in fostering a love for scientific exploration and discovery in our students in grades 6-8. This is an exciting opportunity to:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
  • Utilize inquiry-based teaching methodologies to encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific literacy.
  • Create a stimulating and hands-on learning environment with access to well-equipped science labs and resources.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the science department and across disciplines to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences.
  • Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing meaningful feedback to students and parents.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, clubs, or mentorship opportunities.
  • Work with motivated and internationally-minded students who bring a wealth of perspectives to the classroom.
