Roles and Responsibilities:

A Primary Head of School is expected to:

Serve as a liaison between the Academy’s senior management and the HOS’s departmental staff. (Including Deputy Heads and Teachers)
Line management of primary school staff to ensure the highest quality of programs, curriculum, and assessment are in place and being followed.
Facilitating weekly teaching staff meetings, including setting agendas and keeping minutes.
Be an open, active, and visible presence in classrooms and the playground during sporting and enrichment programs, at special school events, etc.
Foster a caring and encouraging environment of trust and integrity
Ensure the smooth and effective operation of the school
Coordinate with and support other departments on school-wide matters

Curriculum at KWA
