The Mathematics Teacher will be pivotal in delivering high-quality education, fostering intellectual and personal growth, and inspiring students to become active global citizens. The responsibilities and expectations for this role include the following:
Core Responsibilities:
- Teach mathematics subjects such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
- Align lessons with the California State Standards to ensure consistency and rigor.
- Employ innovative teaching strategies, including:
- Inquiry-Based Learning to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective use of technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Design and implement diverse learning activities tailored to meet students' needs.
- Monitor, assess, and report students’ academic performance and behavior.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student development and address challenges.
- Prepare clear and structured lesson objectives and encourage academic perseverance.
