Elementary Homeroom Teacher - Immediate Hire

Tonkla School is set on nearly 8 acres of beautiful Chiang Mai. We aspire to be a modern school with high expectations and aspirations for each student. Our school is the first school in Thailand to use the HEI Schools Teacher Toolkit from Finland in our Kindergarten, integrated with a holistic approach which means that teaching goes beyond academic education.

In addition, we have an expanding International Programme that is currently in its third year and uses the IPC (International Primary Curriculum) to teach its core subjects. This curriculum emphasises personal growth and international mindedness, as well as academic learning. The content is presented through integrated units of learning and uses a hands-on, engaging approach inside and outside the classroom.

We, at Tonkla School, believe that children’s learning happens when they are happy and surrounded by an environment that sparks creativity and endless learning inspirations. We then determine to develop a school to serve as a second home and a haven for children. They will be cared for and nurtured through our carefully crafted learning process so that they will grow from seedlings into huge, strong trees in the future.
