Job Title: Store Keeper
Reporting to: Procurement Department
Liaising with: All Staff
Job Purpose:
The Storekeeper is responsible for the proper care and maintenance of stock, supporting the procurement team in ordering, receiving, and managing accurate inventory of all stocks (example: - books, stationery, uniforms, etc.). Responsible for proper handling of the distribution of all supplies in the right manner.
Key Accountabilities:
- To organize the store and maintain stock: Receive and forward all types of goods and deliveries in and out to the correct point of storage area. Follow all standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store's area of operation. Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keep all storage areas clean & tidy, and strictly comply with hygiene and COVID regulations.
- Record keeping and report generation: Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored correctly. Responsible for verifying all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note, and agreed quantity has been received. Record all receipts and pricing information in the School ERP. Ensure concerned individuals sign all store requisitions as per the school's operations procedure. Ensure the quantity requested and the quantity issued always matches. Ensure the store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and enter the Inventory/Materials Management System. Maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all store items. Troubleshoot any vendor delivery issues and oversee/follow up on the return process. Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs in the ERP.
- In relation with the Procurement department: Report procurement department of any discrepancies on invoices for reconciliation with vendors. Support procurement department in the reordering of standing order stock items according to established guidelines maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels, projected usage, and estimated delivery date. Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
- In relation with Parents/Students: Assist parents/students/customers in the selection of additional uniforms and/or other school supplies.
- In relation to teachers and other staff: To distribute resources at the beginning of the school year and retrieve them at the end of the year.
Other duties:
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors.
- Ensure the SAIS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.

- Valid driver’s license.
- Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
