Additional School Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or any post-graduate qualification.
It is preferable to have a master's degree in Special Education.
5-year experience in teaching Special Education.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school's SEN policy.
The SENCo will coordinate additional support for pupils with send and liaise with their parents, teachers, and other professionals who are involved with them.
Assess individual learning needs of students with disabilities or identified as gifted and/or talented.
Promote the welfare and interests of students with disabilities.
Provide access to the curriculum through teaching, adapted equipment and materials, accessible settings, lessons, and other involvements.
